Job interview

September-2012, at 10:35 in W104, an interview was going on by Mr. Hedley, Chairman of the interviewing panel, Hammed-H00229866- and Hamden-H00229868 with the candidate Abdullah Ali-H00234756 for the job offer at Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority as a tourist guide.  He is 23 years old, graduated from Higher College of Technology, from Abu Dhabi, single and looking to get married soon. He has lived In Abu Dhabi for his entire life and knows a lot of different places that he loves to share with others. He showed up in the interview with the official dress of the UAE with confidence. The candidate showed a high level in communication in English with excellent volume and grammar. Generally appropriate posture and eye contact exhibited most of the time. It was obvious that the candidate’ preparation was great as he had all the data about the job requirements and the places that tourists mostly like to visit in Abu Dhabi. An uncomfortable feeling was observed when Hammed asked him if he doesn’t mind to work at weekends. He said that he is creative and can develop new strategies to interact with tourists and increase the income. I can see that he has the potential to cooperate and the right skills to maintain a constant performance. I recommend him for the job.
